MIB – On the Back Burner August 21, 2008

I’ve struggled with MIB since the get go.  I’m expending over $70 per month in fees (MIB’s fee and my web site fee).  I’m out of money, and I guess out of steam to cotinue with MIB, so I’m putting it on the back burner.  I know that MIB says you don’t have to call people, but I do and everytime I get called some nasty name, reach a disconnected number, or receive false promises.  I can’t handle it anymore!  I intended for MIB to take over the income I’m going to lose come October, but that isn’t happening.  I know I do not devote the 2 – 4 hours/day that I need to devote to suceed, but how can you really think of that much material to blog about without double blogging?  I know my mentor, Rob Hunter, does it, but I think he’s an exception to the rule.  He’s great, very smart and very supportive.  I’ve GREATLY appreciated all he has done for me.  I would recommend that if you are thinking of becoming part of MIB, you do so with Rob Hunter and the Mentors4U team.

Anyway, check back for updates, as I may add them now and again.  If not here, check out my other blog, myherbalifeweightloss.wordpress.com.

Blogging August 2, 2008

Blogging is a science, per se.  Initially, when I started with MyInternetBusiness, I thought blogging was about small little chirps regarding my business.  After reading some of the Products, I realized I was looking at blogging in the wrong way.  I’m having fun, sure, but I was failing to INFORM my readers about the opportunity available with MyInternetBusiness

Here are a few things I have learned:

  • Consider who my readers are
  • What is my reader’s interest – I assume they are interested in making money for themselves, but do I really know that?  No.  Maybe my reader is trying to get a feel for the business, wanting to venture away from their j.o.b.s., but not sure where to turn.
  • Be personable – make your reader want to contact you.

I am in the learning stage of blogging, squidooing, and setting up videos.  I have a great support system in Rob Hunter and the Mentors 4 U team and without them, I would be wandering around cyberspace without a clue.  The only way to get out of the learning stage, I think, is to keep trudging forward.  And soon, I will be an expert wordpress.com blogger, an expert at linking my SEOs to my other sites, and to my team.  (I just learned the term SEO a few months ago and I feel so internet savvy when I say “SEO”).

Until the next informative blog, keep on rockin’!

It’s All Lost! Gone! July 31, 2008

I’ve have been working so hard on forming a “cheat sheet.”  It’s a computer file I made to keep all of my quick links, SEO info, etc. in one handy dandy place.  My computer had an issue, so I completed a system restore, and CONTRARY to what the system told me (no data would be lost), I lost my cheat sheat and most of my client files during a two day period.  Grrrr.

This, as you can see, is the perfect learning experience.  The lesson:  be sure to back up your work on a flash drive.

Thanks to my mentor and team, though, I am able to recreate tags, links, and other important stuff.  The hard part – remember all of my passwords!

Keep on rockin’ (and backing up your work)!

You’re Fired! July 18, 2008

So, my boss came into my office one day and said, “I need to talk to you.”  I gulped – those 6 words are never the ones you want to hear from your boss.  The six words you want to hear are, “You deserve a big fat raise!”  Yeah, instead, I got the pink slip words.

I settled myself, held back the vomit that was threatening to burst forth, and listened to my boss tell me that he received a great opportunity to join the National Whistleblower Center in Washington, DC, and to become a partner wtih Kohn, Kohn and Colapinto.  I live in Ohio.  This is not a commute I can make every day.  I was being let go from the only job I’ve had for the past 13 years!

And so, I began the internet search of my life – looking for a job or business opportunity.  I found this really great job working for dataprocessors.org.  Alert the sarcasm detectors because the people at dataprocessors.org has NOT PAID ME THE $690 THEY OWE ME.

I also found MyInternetBusiness .  I signed up with Rob Hunter and I have been going strong ever since.  I’ve taken some time off here and there, but all in all, it’s been a great, positive experience, a great company, terrific products and the best mentoring TEAM.  I don’t care what kind of business you get in, if the person that signs you up takes off after they get your money, you will have a hard time with sucess.  When you sign up with me, you get myself and many others to lead you, guide you, and tell you straight up what is and is not going to work.  We have weekly trainings through the business and through our team.  I have also learned a great deal from the digital products I sell, too.  Check them out at MyInternetBusinessRocksTour.

Until the next blog, think about the future and where you want to go with YOUR future.  Do you want to work for yourself or bring big money into someone else’s pocket?

Okay, the title has nothing to do with what I’m going to write about, but it’s catchy!  Well, it MAY have something to do with this blog.

Just when I think I know how to effectively run MyInternetBusiness, I get stumped by something!  Everyday is a learning experience, and if it wasn’t for my mentor, Rob Hunter, I’m not sure I would know how to link up different blogs, SEO’s and such to my “backlinks.”  (I’m not really sure I understand all of those terms, but I follow the step-by-step system Rob has shown me, and it appears to be working!)  Here’s a good example:  I just put in the link to MyInternetBusiness (highlighted above) and the comma wouldn’t go where I wanted it, so I pulled out my handy-dandy cheat sheet Rob set up and POOF!  I fixed it!  Yay! *pats self on back*

So, I guess my point today is:  everyday I learn something and just when I think I have it all, my comma doesn’t get put in the right spot!

Check out MyInternetBusiness.  You’ll see exactly what I mean by the step-by-step system.  And you’ll learn how to make thousands of dollars in the process!

Happy Day!

A Light in the Dark July 1, 2008

Okay, quite literally, people in my neck of the woods were without light some of the weekend.  I live in Ohio, so it’s not surprising that we can go from 30 days without a drop of rain to 4 inches in an hour, but it does put a damper on blogging when there is no power to power your computer!

So, because of the shady power, MyInternetBusinessRocks has not rocked this weekend as well as it could have.  However, my HerbaLife business has picked up!  I guess darkness makes people want to sit in a candle lit bathroom and realize just how chubby they really are (myself included).  I’ll blog about my HerbaLife business later, though, I do have to mention that I have lost 5 pounds in 7 days (and that is with a picnic, a family reuinion, and a stop at Red Lobster).

Okay, back to MyInternetBusiness.  I have finally (I mean, I knew it before, but it’s really just hit me) realized the sucess of this business comes from:  um, doing WORK, reading the products I’ve already bought into, and TEAM SUPPORT.  Not only from my Mentors4U Team, but from my family.  When Dar (my husband) realized his new grill came from MyInternetBusinessRocks, he stopped bugging me so much about spending an hour on the computer when I got home from work.  He is now giving our son a bath so that I can work on the business!  Yay!  How cool is THAT?!?!

So, click here MyInternetBusiness, register and take the tour of MyInternetBusiness.  A special invitation to you from me.  Darren will happily take on the tour of MyInternetBusiness and I will be even happier to answer your questions!

So, until the next time – Keep on rockin’!

Sally :)

Good evening to everyone and I hope all the Ohioans in the Tuscarawas, Carroll, Harrison, and Stark county areas are staying dry and safe this rainy night!

Learning how to run an internet business.

I knew when I signed up that I would have to work 2 to 4 hours every day. Rob (my mentor) has set up a great, easy to follow program, just for his team members. Do I do it? No! Why? I don’t know. I think I’m afraid. I’m afraid to become wealthy (in the monetary sense of the word).

So, I’ve decided to take my first true hard step into the world of wealth – I’m setting a goal of making $1,500 by September 13. I’m putting my goal at such a distance away because I am a full-time nursing student, and that nursing business is hard! I actually have to study!

I’m going to follow Rob’s plan TO THE T, working 2 to 4 hours every day, five days a week. I truly believe that with this determination, I will be making $3,000 by September 13!

Thanks for reading my Lens! Check out my website at: MyInternetBusiness and request a tour. The products are great and the team is outstanding!

Happy Day!
